A swordfish uses its impressive bill to stun or kill prey species, often feeding at night.
We are selling Artist Proofs, signed and numbered, edition 100 with the accompanying stamp. The image size 6.5 x 9 with overall size 12.5 x 14.​There will be no more stamp prints for Texas. This is the last year. An end of an era.

​Since a swordfish’s diet can vary depending where it is in the water column, I decided to use tinker mackerel as bait. You can see one mackerel sliced in half and another that is reminiscent of Edvard Munch’s famous painting "Der Schrei der Natur" (The Scream of Nature, better known as simply "The Scream”). In the tradition of Stanley Meltzoff, I've added some jellyfish.
