Billfish are among the ocean's top predators. Blue marlin consume dolphin in the 10 to 15 pound range regularly. Blue marlin can grow to be 14 feet long and weigh 2,000 pounds, with females being much larger than males. In fact, adult females can be up to four times the size of the largest males.
